The School of Natural Sciences (SNS) is an organizational unit established to provide the best environment for research activities, teaching and academic staff training.

The
following departments operate within the School:

Goals:

  • developing a strategy for the advancement
    of scientific activities of School’s faculties and exercising supervision over
    the correct and effective implementation of scientific activities within
    individual disciplines;
  • assessing the interim financial plan and
    the School’s financial plan and its implementation;
  • assessing draft resolutions submitted to
    the Senate;
  • developing guidelines for the Scientific
    Council on criteria of periodic evaluation of academic teachers;
  • shaping the School’s employment policy.

The head of the School of Natural Sciences
is Prorector prof. dr hab. Zofia Szweykowska-Kulińska.
